Biography: Aimee and Claude Deveraux were a couple that were never known as a pair to give up on something. They were determined to have a child of their own, and after they had been denied by family, friends, doctors, and miscarriages, they never stopped. Finally, after cutting ties with all family and friends, they gave birth to Aime on February 14th. They named him after his mother. For the first eight years of his life, he was raised by his two doting parents. He never had a problem with seeing his extended family as little as he did, and after a while everything just seemed perfect. At the peak of his childhood, things turned for the worst. He was taken from his bed and sat in a chair, forced to watch as two vampired mercilessly murdered his parents for their blood. They then moved on to do the same to him, though dragged on the process, gouging out his right eye. They were were going to move onto the other eye, but he was saved by a one-winged being. He was brought to the hospital, taken care of and was then placed in an orphanage. He was extremely anti-social, and the other children feared him. He spent most of his time staring out the window in his room until one day, he managed to make a friend who was also a little "different". His name was Lumiere.
They remained friends, and when a shady man visited he orphanage, they refused to be taken apart. If it wasn't for Lumiere, Aime would still be stuck in the orphanage.
He was put under the control of a magician, though he failed at the whole illusion concept, so he taught him some simple and complex card tricks so he wouldn't be stuck as a custodian. The magician retired, and he was left to take care of himself.
